Fashioned from natural native woods grown in the Eastern Forests of North America, these are tools you can use EVERYDAY! (and you will enjoy using them often!)
Each piece is worked from start to finish by Phil & Martha Baerreis; our signature and the wood type are engraved in each one.
We design, saw, carve, shape and sand each piece to fit the hand and the job it is designed to do.
Care is taken to make these designs ergonomic; therefore, comfortable to use.
Each piece is carefully finished in a mixture of mineral oil and local beeswax, a clean, healthy and food-safe finish that protects the wood.
Your salad servers are finished in our studio/workshop as you order...we are there everyday! We enjoy making things with you in mind, as we have an idea of where the piece is going and who it is intended for!

Natural wood kitchen utensils are documented to be safe and healthful alternatives for cooking. Please NEVER put them in the dishwasher - just quickly wash them in warm soapy water, rinse and dry - occasional oiling is restorative, should you feel they need it!
